Project 5 - Earthquake Analysis of a RC Cantilever Column Using OpenSeesPy

This is our 5th project in our Civil Engineering Projects - a free monthly project series. This project series is a part of our Civil Engineering Mega Series package. In this project, you will learn in detail about all the steps involved in performing an earthquake analysis (Nonlinear time history analysis) using OpenSeesPy. This Project Comes in two parts,

In Part 1 of this Project - You will learn the basic commands involved in performing an earthquake analysis, how to load an earthquake acceleration data into OpenSeesPy, How to post-process the results etc,

In Part 2 of this Project - You will learn how to deal with the convergence issues that occurs while performing nonlinear time history analysis.
